Essential requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer (5+ years preferred), preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills in American English with a focus on clarity and precision.
• Knowledge of writing in simplified technical English is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments can effectively contribute to documentation in iterative development cycles.
• Experience in SolidWorks Composer (or similar) for creating illustrations.
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience working with Component Content Management System (CCMS) tools.

Meritorious:

• CCMS tools Quanos Schema ST4 and Skribenta.
• Familiarity with automatic door systems or similar mechanical systems is a plus.
• Collaboration tools, such as Confluence, Teams, or Slack, facilitates effective teamwork across global teams.
• Certifications in technical writing, such as the Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC).
