Role:
• Leading the development and advocacy of our internal developer portal, Backstage
• Driving Backstage's technical direction for secure, scalable, and maintainable operations
• Crafting and implementing the product roadmap to address our engineers' critical needs and pain points
• Championing user-centric development practices
• Mentoring team members and contributors, elevating their technical and architectural skills
• Providing senior engineering perspectives in organizational discussions and projects

Essential requirements:

• Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience with Backstage development in large, international organizations
• Set and execute strategic roadmaps, driving decisions from both technical and product standpoints
• Exhibit strong leadership, empowering peers and fostering a culture of innovation
• Think strategically about technology and its impact on organizational efficiency
• Collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders at all levels
