Job Description
Test Strategy & Planning

• Define the overall test strategy, scope, objectives, and governance across ST, SIT, FAT, and UAT.
• Identify test resources, tools, environments, and data needs.
• Align testing timelines with overall project milestones and global rollout plans.

Test Preparation & Execution

• Lead hands-on development of test scenarios, test scripts, and test data (with Test Coordinator support).
• Execute and oversee testing across all phases, ensuring complete coverage and readiness.
• Manage end-to-end defect lifecycle: triage, prioritization, follow-up, RCA, and closure.
• Ensure proper documentation, evidence, and test compliance.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Guide and mentor the Test Coordinator and testers across functional, integration, and business streams.
• Collaborate closely with Business, Product, Integration, Solution, and Delivery teams.
• Provide clear reporting: progress, risks, dependencies, defect trends, and quality metrics.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, checkpoints, and triage meetings.

Continuous Improvement

• Improve test processes, templates, traceability, and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for reuse, optimization, or automation.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of full testing lifecycle and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
• Hands-on testing capability with ability to lead detailed execution activities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Most important things:

• 8–12 years in software testing with proven experience leading multi-phase testing (ST, SIT, FAT, UAT).
• Hands-on creation of test strategies, test scripts, test data, and execution cycles.
• Experience in large enterprise or ERP environments (SAP preferred).
• Experience in high-criticality or global rollout programs is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CAFM/IWMS or Facility Management solutions is beneficial.
